Thoughts on getting started

This looks like a good opportunity to learn to use some new tools and apply them for a better web communication. It is great that it is self-paced and not too time consuming. Some blogs I have checked look as if they are a timely communication with their audience and provide valuable feedback. I would like to use that aspect of this technology.
